Mr. Leo Adeh, attended the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and obtained Masters of Arts (2001) Bachelor of Arts ( 2006) and Diploma (1991) in Theatre and Media Arts. He was offered an automatic permanent employment into the Bayelsa State Civil Service in May 1998, by the Bayelsa State Government for his outstanding performance as Overall Best Corp Member, during the 1997/1998 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme, in the State and rose through the ranks, with nineteen years (19) cognate experience, serving in various capacities as Information Officer, Head of Performing Arts, Head of Public Relations, Head of Planning and Policy Development as well as Head of Planning, Research, Publicity and Documentation at the Ministry of Information & Culture, Council of Arts & Culture, Bureau for Arts & Culture and Ministry of Culture and Ijaw National Affairs respectively.
He was deployed to the International Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, Yenagoa, in May 2014, as Acting Registrar, by the Head of Service being the most senior officer in the Tourism/Cultural officer’s cadre in the service. He formally transferred his Service from the State Civil Service to the Institute in January 2015 and became the inaugural Registrar of the Institute, in September, 2015.
He was formerly the Public Relations Officer of the Bayelsa State Chapter of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) and foundation member of the Bayelsa Tourism Travels Club. He has also actively involved in various official Cultural-Tourism activities within and outside the country, geared towards the development of the sector in the State.
Mr. Leo Adeh, is a MEMBER of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) MEMBER, Institute of Tourism Professionals and FELLOW, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria
His hobbies include Travelling, Reading and playing of Squash. He is married and blessed with children
